GhostVeil LLC ("GhostVeil," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you visit ghostveil.ai or use our services. By using our site or services, you agree to the terms of this policy.

We also collect certain information automatically when you visit our site, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on pages via Google Analytics.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
When visitors interact with a GhostVeil AI Agent deployed on your website, contact information they voluntarily provide (name, email, phone) is captured and delivered to you — the business owner — via instant email alert and your GhostVeil client dashboard. GhostVeil stores this lead data to power the dashboard and improve the AI Agent's performance. Lead data is not sold or shared with outside parties.
This is separate from the message content of a conversation. To generate a response, whatever a visitor types to the AI Agent is sent to a third-party AI model provider for processing — see "Third-Party Services" and "International Data Transfer" below for which providers and where that processing happens. GhostVeil does not sell conversation data and does not use conversation content to train any AI models. Businesses can export their chats, leads and knowledge base (CSV or JSON) from their dashboard at any time.
The AI Agent's responses are generated by third-party AI model providers, which currently process data outside the United States: our primary provider processes data in China, and our backup provider (used only when the primary is unavailable) processes data in Singapore. Providers in other regions, including the United States and Europe, may be added in the future, and we will update this page before any such change takes effect. When a visitor sends a message to the AI Agent, that message is transmitted to and processed by these providers under their own privacy and data-handling terms, not GhostVeil's. We select providers based on service reliability and do not control their data retention or model-training practices; see "Third-Party Services" below for the specific providers currently in use. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. Google Analytics uses cookies — small text files stored on your device. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. We also use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure the effectiveness of our advertising.
We retain your personal information for as long as needed to provide our services or as required by law. For the GhostVeil AI Agent: visitor chat messages (questions and answers) and the visitor's IP address are deleted automatically 30 days after they are sent, unless the business has approved that answer into its own knowledge base. For approved knowledge-base entries, the text belongs to the business and is kept, but the visitor's IP address and session identifier are removed after 30 days. Lead data (name, email, phone a visitor chose to share) is kept for the business until the business deletes it from its dashboard or the service agreement ends. Security event logs (such as event type, IP address, and the text of messages flagged as attacks) are append-only and retained for at least 12 months for security and compliance purposes. Backups held by our hosting provider may retain deleted data for a limited time after deletion. You may request access to or deletion of your data at any time by emailing info@ghostveil.ai.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To make a request, contact us at info@ghostveil.ai. We will respond within 30 days.

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
