These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ghostveil.ai and any GhostVeil AI Agent, dashboard, or related service (collectively, the "Services"), operated by GhostVeil LLC ("GhostVeil," "we," "us," or "our"). By visiting our site, signing up for a trial, or interacting with a GhostVeil AI Agent, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. See also our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
GhostVeil provides an AI Agent chat widget and related dashboard tools that businesses ("Clients") embed on their own websites to answer visitor questions and capture leads. GhostVeil also provides web design and related digital services. Features, pricing, and availability may change over time.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create a Client account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at info@ghostveil.ai if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
If you embed a GhostVeil AI Agent on your own website, you are responsible for the content you approve for it to use (system prompts, FAQ/RAG entries, PDF context) and for your own compliance obligations toward your website's visitors, including any disclosure you owe them about how their messages are processed — see "AI-Generated Content & Third-Party Processing" below. You agree not to configure the AI Agent to impersonate a person, provide professional advice it is not qualified to give (e.g., legal, medical, or financial advice) as if from a licensed professional, or violate applicable law.
Paid plans, where offered, are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor. Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid plan or expire according to the terms presented at signup. You may cancel at any time through your dashboard or by contacting us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.
AI Agent responses are generated using large language models operated by third-party AI providers, which may process message content on infrastructure located in the United States, China, France, or other countries, including but not limited to those jurisdictions, depending on which provider handles a given request. AI-generated responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular purpose; GhostVeil does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of any AI-generated output, and neither GhostVeil nor a Client should rely on it as professional advice. See our Privacy Policy for the specific providers currently in use and further detail on international data transfer.
You agree not to use the Services to: violate any law or third party's rights; upload or transmit malicious code; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or any other user's account or data; probe, scan, or interfere with the Services' security or availability (outside of an engagement GhostVeil has expressly authorized in writing); scrape or harvest data from the Services; or use the AI Agent to generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, or intended to deceive visitors about who or what they are speaking with.
GhostVeil retains all rights, title, and interest in the Services, including the AI Agent widget, dashboard, and underlying software. Clients retain ownership of the content they provide (branding, FAQ/RAG entries, lead data) and grant GhostVeil a limited license to use it solely to operate and improve the Services on their behalf.
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GhostVeil LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Services will not exceed the amount you paid GhostVeil in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold GhostVeil LLC harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or content you configure the AI Agent to use or say.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice where practicable. You may stop using the Services at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
